tattoo, pássaros, caravelas, costas
The bird and boat were chosen as a reminders to myself of who I want to be – a person who moves freely towards new and unknown places in life. The style was intended to be alike that of a Chinese painting, as a nod to my culture that has played an enormous role in shaping my personal identity. The tech-looking, crumbling moon in the top right was chosen as a testament to my love for science and understanding that all things in the universe have their course. I wasn’t sure if the contrasting styles between the two components would work out, but in the end I have to say I couldn’t be happier with my first tattoo. Huge thanks to Alan for doing such a fantastic job and helping with the design.
